Gazprom says to send Eni only half of order on Friday
ROME, Jun 17 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom has notified Italy's Eni that the supplies will amount to 50% of the order on Friday, while the real volume has not changed as compared with Thursday, the Italian company said.
Eni stated its daily gas demand at about 63 million cubic meters, of which Gazprom is able to supply about 32 million cubic meters.
On Tuesday, Gazprom said that can only pump up to 100 million cubic meters of gas per day through the Nord Stream pipeline, while the plan is 167 million cubic meters because of equipment troubles at the Portovaya compressor station. The station can only use three pumping units because of delays in the turbine repairs of Germany’s Siemens.
